neuspeed rear brace??

redline8k- My friend is running the non-adjustable cusco bars on his GSr hybrid. That sucka handles great and barely moves when you try to push on it. Note; he is running GSR ft and ITR rear swaybar also.

My rear strut tower brace was the first suspension mod and I didn't feel any difference. I was actually just trying to quiet down the squeeks in the hatch.

The only plastic I had to cut was a brace INSIDE the driver's side shock access door.

Oh yeah... My SCCA region is pretty much a zero rules weeny region, but I've run in STS with it and I've seen many others do it too.

I felt a big difference when I added my neuspeed rear bar. Make the car more neutral. Its pretty beefy. you have to cut the plastic covers on the shock towers or just leave them off to make it fit. But you have to do that with all the rear bars I believe. Here's a few pics of it.

Ok, so I'm thinking neuspeed has two rear bars. This picture:


looks like a bar that connects the diagonal braces right by the seat back. These diagonal braces aren't suspension mounting points, so connecting them wouldn't be legal for STS/STR. But looking more, I may just be seeing it wrong.

The pictures above in revHIGH's post show a "normal" strut tower brace, which connects to suspension mount points, and would be STS/STR legal.

Sorry to have confused anyone. =)

Actually that bar you posted on the civic mounts in the same location as mine (GSR) they both mount to the tops of the shock bolts. But its hard to tell from the angle of that picture.

That cusco bar up there looks pretty solid. Also, the Tenzo R-Type bars look really solid. The comptech front and mugen front and back bars are also quite solid.
